Marshalls attend the World Curling Federation Ice Technicians Course

At the end of June 2018 Marshalls International attended the 20th holding of the World Curling Federations Ice Technician Course.

Over the 5 days of the course, Ian Williams and James Woodward took part in both theory and practical sessions covering subjects from the History of Curling, Ice Quality and Ventilation, Measuring and Installing of Lines and Houses to Pebbling, Scraping and Nipping, with all parts run by the highly experienced pair of Mark Callan and Stefan Rothlisberger.

The course enabled the pair from Marshalls to increase their knowledge of ice preparation but more importantly all the key aspects of making and maintaining curling ice.
