Rinktex®
is the special material for covering ice
rinks, provides alternative usage to increase
revenue. With Rinktex the ice rink can very
easily and quickly be converted to a sports
hall for e.g. indoor soccer, to a concert
hall or to an exhibition hall. All this
can be done without first melting the ice,
as Rinktex can be installed directly on
the ice. Also, it is possible to cover parts
of the ice with Rinktex and at the same
time have ice activities on another part
of the rink.

Soccer
at the Globe Arena
Rinktex
is an all-synthetic textile product, a
further development of the wellknown Bolltex
products.
Rinktex is delivered in 15 rolls, each
4 meters wide and 30 meters long to cover
a full-size rink. The installation, directly
on ice, asphalt, concrete or other solid
subsurface takes about two hours using
4-5 men. Installation and removal therefore
requires a minimum of time.

Consert
at the Scandinavium Arena
Rinktex
has very good insulating qualities, providing
a comfortable environment for an audience
on the surface even if Rinktex is installed
directly on ice.

Horse-racing
at the Scandinavium Arena
At
the unrolling of Rinktex on ice, the ice
has to be "skated". The 15 lengths
are placed edge to edge and a special
technique is used to freeze the seams.
For installation on other sub-bases e.g.
asphalt, concrete or wood, unrolling is
the same, but it is advisable to fix the
seams with a double-sided adhesive tape.
Lines, if any, can be added using coloured
tapes.
